We have a packed kennel of hounds awaiting forever families with the recent reduction of the race card as the three-year phaseout of racing begins at Southland Casino Racing. Please consider opening your heart and home to a retired racer! If you already have a hound, please consider getting a friend for your pet!

As of Jan. 1, 2020, Southland Casino Racing began phasing-out greyhound in West Memphis, AR. The final greyhound race will be run on Dec. 31, 2022. The three-year wind-down is intended to ensure the adoption of the 1,200 racing greyhounds at the track, according to Southland President David Wolf. We have been given assurances that Mid-South Greyhound Adoption Option will continue its adoption operation until the last greyhound has found a home.

Our adoption fee is $300. A non-refundable $50 application fee is due with your completed application. Your $50 deposit will be applied to the adoption fee once the application is approved. You may make the payment via PayPal or by mailing a check with the printout of your completed application.

All  events are canceled until further notice.
