MSGAO is begging for the patience of potential adopters while we cope with the supply-and-demand issues created by the coronavirus pandemic. We have a significant backlog of approved applications that are being given priority when new hounds arrive at the kennel.
Very few hounds were released to MSGAO when racing shut down due to the coronavirus. Now that racing has resumed, we finally are getting more hounds, but not enough have come yet to fulfill all our currently approved applications.
We encourage those interested in adopting to join our waiting list by filing an application and paying the deposit. On Aug. 17 we will begin processing applications filed after July 22.
Our adoption fee is $300. A non-refundable $50 application fee is due with your completed application. Your $50 deposit will be applied to the adoption fee once the application is approved. You may make the payment via PayPal or by mailing a check with the printout of your completed application. We thank you for your interest in adopting a retired racer!
