Our application page is now closed. We're sorry to disappoint any potential adopters, but our supply of dogs is sufficient only to satisfy currently approved applications.

We encourage those still wishing to adopt to seek out a National Greyhound Association-approved greyhound adoption program in their areas. A list of adoption programs nationally is available here.

If your application already has been approved, call for an appointment to view available hounds.

Pay your application and adoption fees online though our store.
Our adoption fee is $350. A non-refundable $50 application fee is due with your completed application. Your $50 deposit will be applied to the adoption fee once the application is approved. We thank you for your interest in adopting a retired racer!

Loeffel is our executive director.

He brings a wealth of experience

to the position as a former racing

kennel worker, business owner

and tireless volunteer. Adam's

volunteer activities for MSGAO

public outreach include the

Lichterman Scarecrow

Contest, the Enchanted Forest Festival of Trees at Pink Palace Museum, the annual MSGAO Dog Wash and the annual Reunion.

Adam brings his creative flair, business acumen, and greyhound knowledge to MSGAO's operations. The health and welfare of our adoptive and boarding hounds are Adam's top priorities. He looks forward to helping you find your new best friend of the furry persuasion!

MSGAO will continue boarding services until Dec. 31, 2022. No new appointments will be accepted after that date.

To provide shelter and care for retired and injured greyhounds and a means for the adoption of greyhounds by caring persons.
To solicit, accept and administer contributions from the general public for the purpose of furthering its mission.
